🎬 About Us – From Lockdown to Movie Buffs
Hey there! Hope your day’s been full of good vibes. If you’ve found your way to this page, you’re probably wondering — who are we, really?
Well, we’re just regular people — just ordinary workers, like most folks out there. But when the pandemic hit back in 2020, everything shifted. Suddenly, life felt like a survival or adventure movie: jobs were lost, the future was uncertain, and we had to keep going through something we’d never imagined before.
The world sort of hit pause. Outdoor activities stopped, lockdowns came into play, and we spent every day stuck in the same room. But funny enough, that’s when a new door opened for us. We got into movies and series in a whole new way (even though we used to just casually watch them during breaks from studying). This time, they weren’t just entertainment — they became our escape, our companions, and in many ways, our teachers.
We watched tons of movies on different streaming platforms (we won’t name names — they’re not sponsoring us 😄), and from there, our love for stories, visuals, and deeper meanings really began to grow.
It all felt a bit like a paradox: we were told to think outside the box, but in reality, we were literally stuck inside 'a box' — thanks to lockdown and isolation.
And if we may borrow a quirky quote from The Internship (2013), starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson:
“Imagine you’re the size of a nickel, and you’ve just been dropped into a blender. What do you do?”
“What??? We’re stuck in a blender… and we have to save life? What???”
We didn’t have all the answers either. But we chose to survive, to stay creative, and to keep moving forward.
And that’s how this website was born — as a place to share stories about films, entertainment, and anything that inspires us.
